Gift Cards can be purchased and gifted to someone else by submitting their email address. The recipient will receive the email for the gift with their Gift Card credit that they can redeem on our website by using the unique Gift card number. You can check the balance of your Gift Card in your account. Gift cards purchased online can only be redeemed online. We do not accept Gift Cards purchased online at our retail stores in Bali.

For domestic delivery, we offer following delivery options:   Bali: In the Ubud area, we offer personal delivery to your villa or hotel for a $10 personal delivery fee.To Sanur, Seminyak, Canggu and Nusa Dua, there is a $15 delivery fee.   Indonesia: For domestic shipping in Indonesia, we use JNE and orders can be delivered within 1-2 shipping days.   For international delivery we use DHL   We recommend our most reliable and efficient delivery service through DHL World Express shipping.   EMS Pos Indonesia (Expedited Postal Service)   This is our secondary, postal shipping option, yet is not available for some countries as we try to ensure safe delivery, and EMS connects with the postal service in the destination country.

If you receive your order and it appears to have broken during the transit period, you must notify DHL and email them with the photo evidence and tracking number to make a claim. Any breakage during the transit period is not Shivaloka’s responsibility but must be reported to the courier. You can contact us at [email protected] to inform us about this.  We will assist you in this process, and once the courier has taken responsibility for the breakage in writing, the item needs to be returned and once received, we will replace the item.

If you’re visiting Bali but don’t have the time to visit one of our shops, yet wish to place an order online, we can deliver your order to your hotel in Bali, please select “personal Delivery to Hotel in Bali”.   Please allow 2-4 business days for delivery, and note your hotel name and address, room number and your Whatsapp number or best contact number on which we can reach you to confirm and let you know the date and time of delivery. Please note that we can only deliver Monday – Friday, except holidays.   Deliveries in the Ubud area are free of charge. Yet, there is a $10 delivery fee for personal deliveries to Sanur, Seminyak, Canggu and Nusa Dua. We require a signature for delivery from you or you need to authorize the hotel staff to receive the delivery for you.

If your order is held by customs for any prolonged period and you require assistance in the process, please first contact the courier with your tracking number to get information regarding the reasons given by customs for the hold. Then, contact our customer service by email and forward the communication you received from the courier.    We will do our best to assist with providing any required documentation. Please note Shivaloka is not responsible for any delays caused by customs inspections.    If you experience a long hold by customs, the recommendation by the courier is that the customer can file a complaint with the customs office. Please visit your local customs government website to see the procedure for a complaint.   If you wish to cancel the order if it is stuck in customs for a long period. Our policy for refunds is that refunds will be issued only once the order parcel has been returned and received by us. Shipping fees are deducted from refunds for returns.

As we ship internationally from Bali, all our customers may be responsible for import taxes & duties by your local customs office. We are currently working on tax free shipments to certain countries, including the UK, Australia and other countries. Please check back or email us for further details.

To ensure the integrity and spiritual quality of the sacred power objects we create, we currently ship everything directly from our production house and offices in Ubud, Bali to our customers around the world.

Once your orders is shipped, it cannot be canceled. If the customer is not able to receive the parcel after several attempts of the courier for delivery or the customer refuses to receive the parcel for any reasons, the order will be returned to Bali after 14 days and the customer becomes responsible for any shipping charges, including return shipping charges to Bali and any applicable duty and import taxes as Indonesian customs doesn’t recognize returns and will tax accordingly.    Please contact the courier at your local office if you should be unable to receive the parcel at the scheduled delivery time and schedule a convenient date and time within the allotted grace time for delivery.

Orders typically ship within 1-2 working days, not including weekends. I.e. If we receive an order Friday at noon in Bali, the earliest it may ship is Monday afternoon, depending on if we have stock or need to produce the order for you. Due to effects of Covid, Bali was closed for two years and onlys started opening its borders again slowly in March 2022. We are still navigating the challenges these restrictions brought, and beg for your patience and understanding. We currently do not hold a lot of stock and often produce on orders as we receive them, so it can happen that delays can occur.  If you have any urgency regarding receiving an order because it is a birthday gift etc, please inform us by contacting us at [email protected] and we will do our best to prioritize your request and get it to you in time. Please note that the shipping period for DHL or other courier option only reflects the time it takes once the order has been picked up by the courier and is in transit to your destination. Selecting the faster courier option does not mean that the fulfillment or production part is expedited. It only means that the actual shipping time is expedited. During sale periods, we expect delays in fulfilling and dispatching your order. We are unable to ship to PO Boxes.

We usually require 1-2 business days (not including weekends) to process your order before it is dispatched. Yet, due to the impact of the pandemic and the two year lock down that devasted the Balinese local economy, we have been forced to reduce our stock quantity and produce on order. Therefore, we beg your patience and understanding that it is possible that at the time of your order, we have to produce the order just for you which is done at our in-house production and can be done quickly, yet this may prolong the delivery processing time. Please note the Delivery Processing time is not included in the delivery time mentioned for shipping. While we truly do our human best to produce, bless and ship our orders in the fastest time possible, we understand that there sometimes is an urgency to receive the order by certain dates. Therefore, please email us prior to your order to make sure that we can fulfill your timely needs.

SHIVALOKA insures each purchase up to $1000 during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to your specified delivery address. If the customer wants to insure orders above $1000 value, insurance will be charged at 2% of the invoice value. Please contact us for insurance requests or questions.  We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfillment by SHIVALOKA, and transfer of responsibility in the same way. The goods are your responsibility from the time we deliver them to the address you gave us. DHL can deliver an order to certain destinations without collecting a signature. You can make this selection through DHL’s website with your airway bill number, otherwise the signature required will be set by default. Please be aware, that if no signature is collected, you agree to our terms and conditions and confirm that SHIVALOKA can leave your package(s) outside the premises at the shipping address provided by you without obtaining a signature for proof of delivery. Please be aware that, if no signature is collected, you agree to our terms and conditions and take full responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur. On occasion, DHL may refuse to deliver your order if they are of the opinion that the shipping address is considered to be unsafe.

If you have changed your mind and need to cancel your order or any reason, you may do so as long as it has not yet been shipped. Once orders are shipped, they cannot be canceled anymore. Simply log into your account, and submit the Cancel Order Request. If the order hasn’t been shipped, your request will be approved and you will receive a refund within 7 days.

Once your returned item has been received by us, we will issue a refund through the same method of payment we received from you. If you used Paypal to pay for your purchase, the refund will be received immediately in your Paypal account and you will receive a notification from Paypal. If you paid by credit card, it can take up to 14 days to show up on your credit card account due to varying processing times between payment providers. The shipping costs will be excluded from the refund unless the item was faulty due to manufacturing defects.

The warranty does not entitle you to replacements or refunds for lost or stolen items. We recommend looking into purchasing insurance to protect from loss and theft. If your order is stolen or lost during shipping, please view our insurance policy. If you require additional insurance coverage with the courier, you can email us and we can assist you with this.

If an item is not to your liking or the size doesn’t fit and you need an exchange, you have 30 days to return your item after receipt of your order. Returned items must not be worn and be returned in mint condition with original packaging. As all our items are energetic products, we cannot accept returns on items that you have started meditating with and wearing as these items now carry your soul energy signature and these cannot be resold to other customers and your energy should always be protected and stay with you. Return your item/s by logging into your account. Click on the “Returns” tab, and fill in and submit the Return form. One of our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you with your return and will contact you after we receive your return with further instructions. Please do not send the items without creating a return in your account and receiving confirmation from our customer service.

Every jewelry piece of SHIVALOKA is covered by a two year warranty on receipt of a valid proof of purchase. This warranty applies to all of our products across the globe, regardless of where you purchased them from. During the warranty period of two years, if your sacred jewelry and mala beads require repair we will provide you with a full repair service free of charge. The warranty does not include international shipping fees. When the warranty expires and you require repairs, we offer a repair service at a small fee.

All products must be returned as received in original, perfect condition, including all packaging materials within 30 days of receipt.  Our customer care team will contact you to assist you with the return after you submit the request for return in your account. Do not send the return without confirmation from our customer care service first. We reserve the right not to accept any return if the product shows signs of wear or has been used or altered from its original condition in any way or we may reduce the amount of any applicable refund or exchange accordingly. Refunds will be made only once the returned item has been received by us and checked. You can choose to receive a store credit or a refund.

If your delivery of items from SHIVALOKA arrived damaged, please contact our customer care team immediately. Please include your order number and pictures of the broken item. The claim must be made within 3 days of receipt. While we understand how disappointing it can be to receive a delivery that’s not in perfect condition, SHIVALOKA is not responsible for any loss or damage during the shipping period. Once we receive your information, we will submit a claim with the courier company. If they confirm the delivery was damaged, we’ll provide instructions on how to return it and send you a replacement.

As we have our own in-house production, we can offer a repair service to our customers. This service is exclusively for SHIVALOKA items and we will not be able to restring malas that were not purchased from us.

SHIVALOKA offers a limited warranty and will repair or replace manufacturing defects due to workmanship free of charge for up to 1 year from the original date of purchase for jewelry. However, it does not cover neglect or abuse. General wear and tear, misuse and tarnishing are not covered under the warranty. Further breakage of stretch elastic used for stretchy bracelets is not covered in the warranty due to the breakable nature of elastic thread. Please keep your receipt or pass it onto the recipient you are gifting SHIVALOKA jewelry to as the original proof of purchase is required to claim your warranty. If a receipt is not available, please present a copy of a credit card statement as proof of purchase. This warranty applies to all of our jewelry products across the globe, regardless of where you purchased them from. During the warranty period of one year, if your sacred jewelry and mala beads require repair we will provide you with a full repair service  or replacement, if required, free of charge. The warranty does not include international shipping fees. When the warranty expires and you require repairs, we offer a repair service at a standard fee.

Yes, we can re-gold plate your jewelry at no charge during the warranty period. Once the warranty period expires, we can offer this service for a charge. Please use our repair service by logging into your account to request gold plating.

If your jewelry requires repair, we offer a repair service exclusively for SHIVALOKA products. Please log into your account, and click on the Repair tab, and you will be taken to a Repair form that you need to fill out and submit.  You will be able to:

• Submit your repair request
• check on the status of your repairs
• Communicate with our support team regarding your repair

You will need to ship your repair item together with our repair form that you can download in our repair section in your account to our production house in Bali.  You will need to submit the repair request together with your order number or a copy of the purchase receipt for warranty purposes. If the warranty has expired, a small repair fee will be applicable and return shipping fee. For your warranty to be applied, you need your purchase order receipt or order number if you purchased online. You will need to ship your repair to Bali and we will guide you on sending the parcel. Please do not send any repairs unless you have received our confirmation.

We have long-standing relationships with rudraksha farms and suppliers and guarantee that all our rudraksha beads and all the mukhi varieties we offer are authentic and high-vibrational beads. Unless otherwise stated on the product page, all our rudraksha jewelry is strung with 5 mukhi/ 5 faced rudraksha beads. These are the common beads used for stringing, they are directly connected to Rudra, the primordial form of Shiva and symbolize Nature, the Five Elements, in perfect harmony. Therefore, they are the quintessential core bead that makes every aspect of these sacred designs so incredibly potent and powerful. They are very adaptable in energy and can be well combined pretty much with any other variety of mukhi bead or gemstones.   The other variety of Mukhi Rudraksha beads we use in our jewelry is often featured as the guru bead or the framed centerpiece of a bracelet design and multiplies the overall power of a piece.

Yes, you can wear more than one SHIVALOKA item at a time, you can wear multiple pieces, like Mukhi rudrakshas. It is up to one’s personal capacity and intentions.   With that said, each item has its unique energy and influence and we recommend to do the Sacred Intention Ritual and subsequent 41 day meditation process with each item separately, especially if they have different powers and intentions. It helps you have greater clarity on the power and connection with each piece when you work with each individually with your personal intentions.

Over the last years, some savvy business men decided to provide X-Rays of Mukhis as proof of the authenticity of mukhi rudraksha beads. It supposedly will show that it is indeed a seed and not a fake bead. The problem with that approach is that energetically, X-rays damage the high vibration of the beads which is the reason we do not offer this option. Since most of our rudraksha come from simple farmers from the mountains, they do not provide certificates. This is another scheme that people come up with to give people a reason to believe that they are buying an authentic bead when in fact the organizations that provide them are either intimately connected with suppliers or earn for each certificate. It is a business and doesn’t provide the security you are looking for. Therefore we do not support these types of certificates. But we offer our word and integrity, that our mukhi rudraksha are all authentic and high-vibrational.

Indonesian Rudraksha beads are smaller in size in comparison to Nepalese beads, and most of our customers prefer the smaller Rudraksha mukhi beads. Indonesian mukhi beads have lines running from top to bottom of the bead and make up the face or mukhis while Nepalese beads have deep clefts instead. Energetically, Nepalese beads are rumored to be more powerful than Indonesian beads, and this is one part because Indonesians do not possess the knowledge of authentically activating the beads. Also, growing in the soil of the Himalayas is considered very sacred. Yet, as we are experienced in recognizing high every beads (they are not all the same) we find powerful Indonesian beads and activate and bless them so that they become powerful and transformative.

The value of Rudraksha has especially in the past 15 years risen tremendously in the market and the prices are increasing. They are often more valuable than gold prices. Especially Nepalese beads are very expensive as the beads are more rare and considered premium beads. We are able to provide Nepalese beads upon request. Please contact our customer care team.

We always seek to support the local economy and are blessed to be able to source powerful Rudraksha beads directly from Rudraksha farms in Indonesia for that matter, as well as from India and Nepal.

The rudraksha bead sizes we use most for stringing our jewelry are 6mm and 8mm beads. Depending on design, we also use smaller beads like the powerful and rare 4mm rudraksha beads, and also bigger sized beads like 9mm – 12mm beads, but found for the daily purposes they are used, 6mm and 8mm beads blend in and work well as jewelry, and are delicate enough for the tactile effort of counting beads in meditation without being tedious.

We advise all our customers to be very diligent in taking care of their sacred power objects by not letting them touch the ground as the gravitational force of the Earth is so powerful it will “suck” the high divine energy, the shakti, of your SHIVALOKA items. It can happen that your sacred power object touches the ground accidentally. In this case, you need to first test the object to see if it has discharged, and then if you feel it is required there are two options: 1. We can recharge the shakti in your sacred jewelry if you wish to send it to us, or 2. You can do a reactivation meditation practice with your beads to rekindle the shakti. To protect your SHIVALOKA soul jewelry, we recommend removing your sacred gems when you shower, bathe, swim or engage in sports or any activities that make you sweat. Some sacred beads do NOT like water and can break.

Nickel is a trace metal found in precious metals such as silver or gold and classified as an allergen. We do not add nickel to the metals in our jewelry however trace amounts can sometimes can be found in some of the metals. The great majority of people will not have a reaction, only very few, highly sensitive people may react allergically. Please contact us if you have an allergic reaction to the metals.

• Avoid wearing your sacred jewelry when you have freshly sprayed perfume, applied cream or other liquids to your skin as this can create a chemical reaction and tarnish the precious metals and darken your sacred beads. We use an anti-tarnish solution on silver but silver is a very fickle metal and can easily tarnish when it comes in contact with the above mentioned products.

• Avoid placing your jewelry in a spot where direct, intense sunlight hits it over an extended period of time as it can cause discoloration of the metals and gemstones.

• For silver jewelry, you can use a Sterling Silver cleaner and polish the metal with a soft polishing cloth. Try to avoid the cleaner getting onto the sacred beads, if possible.

• Do not use a chemical cleaner or abrasive cloth on 22k gold vermeil as it may remove the gold plating.

• Do not use tissue paper or paper towel to clean precious metal as it can cause scratches on the surface

• Brass can be cleaned with a brass cleaner and soft cloth

• 14k, 18k and 22k gold jewelry should be cleaned frequently to keep it shiny. All you need is a bowl of warm water, dish soap and a soft toothbrush and a soft, lint-free polishing cloth to dry and buff the gold. Soak the jewelry for 15 minutes in the soapy, lukewarm water, then brush the gold gently with the toothbrush, then rinse it under cool water and let it dry and buff with the cloth.

• ​​Do not soak natural emeralds, pearls, opals, coral, lotus seeds, tulsi and sandalwood in water. Emeralds, pearls and opals are delicate and soaking can cause permanent damage, while coral and most sacred beads are made of wood and therefore are soft and absorbent, so water and any chemicals can cause permanent discoloration or damage.

• Even though people think that pearls love water, once harvested they should not be exposed to water and only cleaned with a soft cloth. Do not keep them in an airtight container, pearls need to “breathe”.

Many people believe it is required to cleanse sacred beads as this is a new age practice done with crystals, yet this is usually not required with sacred beads. Sacred Beads should not be kept too long inside a pouch or dark cupboard and require to mingle in the elements, especially indirect sunlight and flow of air will make your mala stay vibrant. As sacred beads are made of natural seeds and wood, they can turn moldy or attract bugs if they are kept inside a bag too long and not worn or used. This is especially the case in places with high humidity. Silica gel packs can help but it is by far best to use and wear your sacred beads often and keep them on your altar draped over your favorite idol like a Ganesh statue or whatever holy items grace your sacred space at home. When you travel, it is best to store your jewelry in a soft pouch.
